Math Rescue
Targeted Math Support for Grades 3-8
Math Rescue is offered in two grade-band groups to ensure instruction is aligned and students get the right level of support.
When math gaps start to pile up, confidence is usually the first thing to go.
Math Rescue is a short-term, small-group program designed to help students rebuild essential math skills, practice in a low-pressure setting, and start feeling capable again.
This is not test prep.
This is not one-on-one tutoring.
It’s focused support — right when students need it most.
WHO THIS IS FOR (AND NOT FOR)
Math Rescue is a great fit if your learner:
-
Feels stuck, frustrated, or behind in math
-
Needs reinforcement of core skills (not new acceleration)
-
Learns better with structure and peer support
-
Would benefit from confidence-building before moving into more advanced work
Math Rescue is not the best fit if:
-
Your learner needs diagnostic-level, individualized intervention
-
You’re preparing for a high-stakes test (ACT, GED, state exams)
-
You’re looking for ongoing weekly tutoring
If you’re unsure, a quick intro call can help determine the best next step.
What Students will Gain
By the end of Math Rescue, students will:
-
Strengthen core math foundations that support current and future learning
-
Practice skills in a calm, supportive small-group environment
-
Learn strategies for approaching problems with more confidence
-
Feel more prepared and less overwhelmed heading into the rest of the school year
The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress, clarity, and confidence.

WHY SMALL GROUP SUPPORT WORKS
Small-group learning allows students to:
-
See they’re not alone in their struggles
-
Learn from peer questions and explanations
-
Practice without the pressure of being “on the spot”
-
Rebuild confidence before gaps turn into long-term obstacles
Math Rescue is designed to meet students where they are, not rush them ahead.
This program is designed to close gaps quickly and rebuild confidence before testing pressure increases.
