Hi there, I’m Dr. Sherri
I’m an educator, curriculum expert, and mom of three who believes learning should be meaningful and personal. Whether I’m tutoring students or supporting schools, I lead with heart and evidence-based strategies.

About Me
My journey as an educator began over a decade ago in a college math lab — and it hasn't slowed down since. I’ve taught students from kindergarten to college, run programs for schools and cities, and tutored learners of every background and ability level.
In 2024, I earned my Doctorate in Education with a focus on curriculum and teaching. That work sparked a mission: helping students succeed by supporting the adults and systems around them. I now lead Education That Matters, providing tutoring, school consulting, and content that advocates for real, impactful change.
When I’m not working with students or districts, you’ll find me cheering at baseball games, baking muffins, or writing about the future of education.
